Tax responsibilities

TindaJuan currently provides operational inventory and sales records. It does not issue BIR-registered invoices, submit tax returns, or replace registered books of accounts. No BIR approval or accreditation is claimed for this service.

Issue invoices separately

Keep using your authorized invoice process. A sale number, sales summary, exported spreadsheet, or share card from TindaJuan is not a BIR invoice and is not valid for a claim of input tax. An invoice reference entered here only links to a document issued separately; it does not issue or validate that document.

Invoice obligations depend on your VAT status and transactions, including buyer requests and applicable daily aggregation rules. Recording an utang sale does not defer an invoice that is required at the time of sale.

Record corrections and preserve history

Void an incorrect entry with a reason. The original stays in your export with the correction time and actor. Voided entries are excluded from current totals. Never omit or alter records to conceal sales. Export your history and preserve the required invoices, books, and supporting documents for the applicable legal retention period.

Stores with financial history cannot be permanently deleted through self-service. Contact support to arrange closure and retention. Exporting a spreadsheet alone does not establish compliance with BIR book registration or preservation requirements.

Confirm registration requirements

Before relying on TindaJuan for checkout or official accounting, confirm the system classification and applicable registration or permits with your RDO. Calling software an internal tracker does not establish an exemption. Store owners and the platform operator each remain responsible for their own tax obligations.
